The area where the photo is to be placed has a small sheet of plastic that slips into the corners, to be held in tight. By using a pencil eraser, it's easy to get the plastic and picture in and out easily! They have 2 holes on each side for stringing that are approx. 13 mm apart. They measure approximately 23 mm across, with a height of 25 mm. They are all one-sided as shown in the picture.
